LEARNING  OBJECTIVES    

The participant will be able to:

1. Record and tabulate the EEG from various International 10-20 locations with EEG biofeedback equipment.
2. Identify the normal EEG by interpreting 2-dimensional graphics.
3. Identify EEG signatures or brain wave patterns that reflect various disorders.
4. Discuss indications and contraindications for therapy in order to identify those who will benefit the most from neurofeedback training.
5. Locate artifacts in the EEG that are caused by scalp muscles and eye movements.
6. Reduce artifacts in the EEG recording.
7. Discuss the application of EEG-biofeedback to various disorders such as ADHD, Depression, Anxiety and mild traumatic brain injury with z-score training and single filter designs
8. Learn BrainMaster database-protocol for PTSD-developed by John N Demos
9. Organize and write training plans that relate to those same disorders.

                 ON SITE TRAINING

For some professionals, attending a "Getting Started with Neurofeedback" four-day workshop is a time consuming and costly venture. Have you considered on-site training to save you or your associates time and money? The fee is $1100 per day plus airfare and hotel expenses. This would be a true savings for groups of 5 professionals who are interested in learning to become an effective neurofeedback provider and beginning the BCIA certification process. These fees apply for the continental US times zones: eastern time zone & central time zone. Fees are higher outside the aforementioned continental US time zones.

Other professionals are ready to add BrainMaster's Discovery with NeuroGuide deluxe to enhance assessment and neurofeedback outcomes.  "Getting Started with QEEG & Neuroguide" is a 3 day (weekend) workshop available at your location. The workshop is discounted if equipment and software are purchased directly from us at Neurofeedback of S.VT. provided that your location is within the two aforementioned time zones of the continental US (Travel, food and lodging are extra). If equipment is purchased elsewhere the usual rates apply (minimum 2 day workshop, 3rd workshop day includes Z-score training).

For many practitioners the most practical workshop choice is an online version of “Getting Started with Neurofeedback.” The course spans a total of four Fridays and covers; orientation to Neurofeedback, basic neurophysiology & neuroanatomy, instrumentation & electronics, research & psychopharmalogical considerations, treatment planning and assessment tools.
